Galda spēle Lucky Race: Around the World

Esmu galda spēļu entuziaste. Manā ģimenē esam 9, kas nozīmē, ka nav daudz galda spēļu, kuras varam visi kopā uzspēlēt, jo ļoti daudz galda spēļu ir paredzētas 2 līdz 5 personām. Tā radās ideja par galda spēli Lucky Race: Around the World jeb Veiksmīgās sacensības: Apkārt pasaulei, kas ir paredzēta arī lielākam ģimenes un draugu pulkam.

Spēle ir izveidota iedvesmojoties no Žila Verna grāmatas “Astoņdesmit dienās ap zemeslodi”. Spēles pamatā ir vienas no manām mīļākajām pilsētām, kurās es esmu bijusi un uz kurām es sapņoju aizceļot. Laikā, kad pasauli aptverošās pandēmijas dēļ ir ierobežota ceļošana, šī spēle dod iespēju veselīgā konkurencē apceļot pasauli un izbaudīt laiku kopā ar draugiem un ģimeni.

Spēles mērķis ir apiet apkārt pasaulei, krājot transportlīdzekļu kartītes. Uzvar spēlētājs, kurš pirmais paspēj apiet apkārt pasaulei un nonākt atpakaļ savā sākuma pilsētā.

Spēles laukums ir ziemeļu puslode ar 12 pilsētām dažādās valstīs un kontinentos. Starp pilsētām ir norādīti ceļi ar nepieciešamo pārvietošanās veidu. Katrs spēlētājs sāk savā pilsētā. Lai spēlētājs tiktu uz nākamo pilsētu, spēlētājam ir jāsakrāj attiecīgajam ceļam norādītais transportlīdzekļu veids jeb to kartītes. Ceļojumā sagaida arī dažādi misēkļi, kas aizkavē pārvietošanos, piemēram, negadījumu situācijas, vai pēkšņi uzradies kabatzaglis.

Spēle veidota bez sarežģītas stratēģijas, kas piemērota jebkura vecuma spēles dalībniekam.

I am a board game enthusiast. There are 9 people in my family, which means that there are not many board games that we can all play together, because a lot of board games are for 2 to 5 people. This is how the idea for the board game Lucky Race: Around the World came about, which is also intended for a larger group of family and friends.

The game is inspired by Jules Verne's novel "Around the World in Eighty Days". The game is based on one of my favorite cities I have been to and dream of going to. At a time when travelling is restricted due to a global pandemic, this game allows you to travel around the world in a healthy competition and enjoy time with friends and family.

The object of the game is to travel around the world by collecting movement cards. The winner is the player who is the first to travel around the world and return to the player’s starting city.

The board map is the northern hemisphere with 12 cities in different countries and continents. Roads with the required type of movement are indicated between the cities. Each player starts in their own city. In order for the player to travel to the next city, the player must collect the type of movement or movement cards indicated on the respective road. There are also various missteps waiting for the trip, such as accident situations or a sudden pickpocket.

The game is designed without a complicated strategy, suitable for players of any age.
